MT. DIABLO MUSTANG SOCCER ANNOUNCES SUMMER CAMPS 2024
In one of many initiatives to continue to raise the standards of our club, players, and coaches, we’re developing a series of multi-day clinics for Mt. Diablo Mustang players!
These clinics will challenge players technically and grow their game understanding. Low coach-to-player ratios will allow us to create a positive and engaging environment where players receive specific feedback, compete, and improve their skills. The curriculum will benefit our players and prepare them for the season ahead.
Mt. Diablo Mustang clinics include:
- Principles of Play – Perfecting the fundamentals
- Introduction of Pitch Geography – Innovative field visualization tools for introducing Pitch Geography principles (Understanding spaces on the pitch)
- Ball Mastery
- Small Sided Games / Rondo’s that are realistic to a game that include an objective and coaching points to help players understand the game.
- Game Play – Full Sided Matches to allow players to apply what they’ve learned in a game setting. Full utilization of both Alhambra turf and grass fields!
- Covering everything above for positions of – Defenders, Midfielders, Forwards
