FINANCIAL AID
We provide financial aid for our club members and encourage participation in difficult financial seasons. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we are able to offer limited financial assistance in support of your program registration for our club.
If you feel your family/player is a candidate for assistance in our program, you may confidentially apply for financial assistance for a portion of your fees as listed below. Please note that all assistance is based on need, as determined by each submitted application and supporting tax/financial/government documentation. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that any request for financial assistance may be fulfilled.
Partial aid may be considered towards the program fee only, AFTER the first program fee (required payment) has been paid. Families are still responsible for payment of uniforms and other costs associated with participation on the team.
APPLICATION PROCESS:
We have partnered with School and Student Services (SSS) in our club’s financial aid process. SSS is a leader in providing financial aid assistance with schools and clubs, large and small. Its application process can be completed in both English or Spanish. To begin your financial aid application, you will complete the SSS Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) then submit the required documents.
- The PFS is an application that will take some time to complete. Give yourself the time you need by not waiting until our deadline approaches. You will need your most recent tax return before beginning the PFS.
- The following documents are required as part of the application process.
- 1040 with all files and attachment
- W2
- State Tax Return
- Paycheck/Paystub Copy
- 1099
- Bank Statement
- Mortgage Statement
- Applications that are incomplete will not be reviewed for financial aid.
- The following documents are required as part of the application process.
The $60 application fee is non-refundable and must be paid directly to SSS, via the family portal.
- Family Resource Center: A great place to begin learning about the process. The site has downloadable guides, a PFS workbook, and a link to the SSS Family Portal login page
- To make our decision, we use the information from the PFS as a starting point and consider our Club policies, practices, and available budget.
- We will communicate our financial aid decision to you, directly from the SSS platform.
You can apply here, our partner code is 201109 or you can search for American Youth Soccer Organization
DEADLINE: The Application window is May 5th to June 20th.
Applications and supporting documentation must be submitted in full to be considered. Incomplete applications will not be considered. The financial aid is limited and will be awarded to applicants with the highest need.
