| I’ve been managing youth soccer programs since 2018, as the Registrar for PHMSA, the Club Administrator for AYSO United East Bay and the Game Scheduler for Diablo Valley Football Club. My two kids have followed the full AYSO Player Pathway from Schoolyard to Club. My philosophy is that I want kids to play soccer, have fun, and improve their skills for both soccer and life along the way. |

I’ve been involved with AYSO for 10 years, as a parent, coach, board member, and as Regional Commissioner for Mt Diablo Region 223. With two competitive soccer-playing kids and a retired-coach/active-referee husband, I spend many hours at soccer fields every week. My passion is making youth soccer accessible, safe and fun for all. I believe being part of a soccer team helps kids to grow as people, developing the leaders of the future, on and off the field – as well as being fun for the rest of the family too.

Club soccer scared the heck out of me when my daughter joined her first club program. The fees seemed astronomical. The tryout process was stressful with a “You’re in” or “You’re out” philosophy. Who gets playing time vs. who is riding the bench. All of it was overwhelming to me. My question to the coach at the first team meeting was “All of this is great, but how will you support my kid’s mental/emotional health in this competitive environment?” I care a lot about our kids in our community. I believe that kids don’t learn how to play with confidence and develop when riding the bench. The AYSO values + a club environment are the perfect pair. I’ve proudly served as the volunteer AYSO Club Treasurer since 2019. I’m married to a Coach. I’m Mom to 2 soccer loving kids. I don’t know what offsides means.

I joined PHMSA AYSO 16 years ago. I love their philosophies and mission statement, about everyone playing and developing players around the sport. I live in Pleasant Hill, am a mom of 3, married to Jay and we are local business owners in Concord. I would hope that I not only coach soccer to these young people but I also make a difference in the players life. I truly enjoy watching the players develop, giving them challenges and seeing them be successful on and off the field. My coaching philosophy is to use my education and skills to inspire, lead and mentor players so they can become people of integrity, honesty and respect in a positive environment.

With 10 years of coaching experience, I have dedicated myself to developing young soccer players across all levels of the game. My coaching journey began when my daughter started playing soccer, reigniting my passion for the sport I played as a child for six years. I have progressively advanced through the coaching ranks from recreational leagues to Alliance level and now to club soccer, bringing a wealth of experience to every team I lead. A Bay Area resident for the past 20 years, I find my greatest joy in witnessing players transform from hesitant beginners into confident, skilled athletes who believe in themselves both on and off the field. My coaching philosophy extends beyond technical skill development, focusing on nurturing each player’s personal growth and helping them discover their potential.

I’ve been part of the AYSO community for about 4 years, including 1.5 years leading the AYSO Alliance Program. Even after my son decided to stop playing, I stayed involved because I truly believe in the power of team sports to help kids grow and connect. Outside of AYSO, I’m an Operations Manager at a behavioral health company supporting children on the autism spectrum. One of my goals is to work with the AYSO EPIC program to create inclusive teams specifically for youth with autism. Volunteering and building community through soccer is something I’m deeply passionate about, and I’m proud to be part of AYSO’s Mt Diablo Mustang Soccer program.
